This very special serigraph edition was created to unite the raw essence of virgin charcoal with the refined craft of handmade silkscreen printing at Helio Bray Studio, produced personally by the artist himself.

The intention behind this work was to preserve the magic of the first drawing gesture, the immediacy, depth, dust, and living texture of charcoal , and bring it into the language of serigraphy. By incorporating virgin charcoal directly as both pigment and texture within the silkscreen process, the work carries the tactile presence and atmospheric richness of an original charcoal drawing while existing as a handmade printed edition.

This dialogue between drawing and printmaking has resulted in a uniquely expressive and highly singular serigraph: a beautiful fusion of material, gesture, color, and process, where each surface retains the poetic traces of the artist’s hand.
