Resins
HelioBray’s connection to the sea is personal and generational. With fishermen and seamen in his family, the ocean was never just a landscape, it was a way of life, a daily language of work, endurance, and respect. That heritage shaped his gaze early on, turning the sea into a place of memory and identity as much as horizon.
His passion is also fueled by the sea’s many tones: deep and almost black in storms, green and heavy near the coast, silver under morning light, electric blue at midday. Those constant shifts, calm to rough, transparent to opaque, keep pulling him back, again and again.
That is why the sea becomes the central subject of HelioBray’s Resins Series. Resin allows him to translate the ocean’s depth and luminosity into material: layered surfaces, submerged color, and light captured inside the work, like looking into water and seeing time, movement, and emotion suspended.
